We are so excited to now offer both online and in-person Sunday services! We welcome you to join us in the environment that you are most comfortable. If you plan to join us in-person, please view the details below to learn more about what to expect when you arrive on campus. We can’t wait to see you!

What to Expect

We are committed to reopening in a way that prioritizes everyone’s health, safety, and comfort. You can learn about our new policies and procedures in our Common Questions section below.

Urgent Kids

We will begin providing Urgent Kids services starting Sunday, January 3rd. If you feel more comfortable bringing your kids with you into the auditorium, we encourage you to bring a tablet or phone with headphones so your children can watch our Kids experiences during the service.

Here are some additional steps we are taking to keep our kids’ environments safe (and fun) for your family!

  • To reduce traffic in the Urgent Kids area, there will be a limit of one parent per household to drop-off and pick-up your children.
  • Children entering the Urgent Kids area will undergo a brief health screening, including a temperature check, answering several health-related questions, and hand sanitization.
  • Anyone on campus with a 100.5-degree temperature or higher, or showing symptoms of sickness will be kindly asked to worship with us online.
  • No outside toys, food, or items are allowed inside the classroom, with the exception of diapers, pacifiers and bottles.
  • Enhanced cleaning procedures throughout all Urgent Kids areas have been implemented. All kids’ areas and toys will be disinfected between each service to ensure the safest environment possible for your family.
  • During this time, we will arrange each classroom for social distancing for each of our preschool and elementary classes.
  • All Urgent Kids Team members will wear masks during the entirety of their time serving.

Common Questions

  • How will Urgent Church enable social distancing at their campuses?

Our team will welcome you as you arrive on campus. We will guide attendees as they arrive and head to their seats. We will also limit gatherings in the hallways as much as possible. Physically distanced seating will be available in the auditorium with assistance from our ushers and signage.

  • Will Urgent Church be screening those who attend in person?

Temperature checks and symptoms screenings will be required for our team and all children attending our Kids environment. We ask everyone attending to use good judgment. If any of the following applies to you, please worship with us online

    1. In the last 14 days you have tested positive for Covid-19, been experiencing symptoms, or have a known exposure to COVID-19.
    2. If you are in a “high-risk” group, or you care for someone who may be at a “high-risk” for severe illness.
  • Are seating reservations required?

You will not need to reserve your seat. Seating will be provided on a first come, first served basis. In the event that the auditorium seating is filled, we will have additional seating available. We are continuing to watch local, state, and federal guidelines to help us determine safe practices and follow social distancing requirements.

  • Are service times changing at my campus? When should I arrive?

We are in regular conversations with our team to determine our ongoing in-person weekend service schedule. Please continue to visit our website for the most updated information. To help us properly clean and sanitize the building before service, we ask that you arrive no more than 20 minutes before the start of service.

  • What sanitization measures will be in place?

We will clean and sanitize the auditorium before service and our team will frequently disinfect surfaces throughout the building. Hand-sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the campus. All resources and connection cards will be offered online.

  • How can I protect myself and others?

We not only have to consider our personal preferences, but also ensure the environment is safe for everyone. It’s very important for the health and comfort of others that we all follow the recommended practices such as:

    1. Wearing a cloth face cover in public places.
    2. Washing your hands thoroughly and often.
    3. Covering coughs and sneezes.
    4. Practicing social distancing by avoiding physical contact and maintaining 6 feet of space between you and people that live outside of your home.
    5. Staying home if you are showing any signs or symptoms of illness.

Please read about these and other safety measures in further detail here.

  • What about face coverings?

Face coverings are highly encouraged. If you do not have one, they will be available for you as you walk in the door. To help facilitate a safe environment for everyone, our staff and Volunteer Team will be wearing face coverings as they serve.

  • What if I am considered “high-risk”?

If you or someone in your family is considered “high-risk” for severe illness, we encourage you to continue joining us for service online.

  • I’m new, how do I get connected?

We would love to help get you connected! Please fill out a connect card by visiting urgentchurch.com.We will be in contact with you soon!

  • What if I don't feel comfortable coming to an in-person service yet?

We completely understand, and we want you to feel comfortable.
